Hi! I’m Kelly, and I love matcha!
My matcha journey started during late-night study sessions in college when I needed an energy boost without the jitters. Matcha quickly became my go-to drink—not just for its smooth, earthy flavor but for the sense of calm focus it gave me. Over time, what started as a study habit turned into a daily ritual I couldn’t live without.
I frequented cafés in search of the perfect matcha, but I could never find a place that truly honored this cornerstone of my culture. So, I started making my own matcha at home and quickly fell in love with the process. That’s when I realized—I’d love nothing more than to share that joy and tradition with all of my community.
At Kelly’s Matcha, we’re not just about great-tasting drinks (though we have plenty of those!). We’re about sustainability, giving back, and honoring the traditions behind matcha. Our goal is to support local farmers, preserve Asian-American culture, and create a safe space where everyone can enjoy matcha with intention.
